Research

The main emphasis here was on the dimensional cases, the function of which must be determind as clearly as possible, if we are to understand the full expressive possibility of the language. Apart from the specification of the functions of the dimensional cases, Sebastian Fischer argue for a system that explains the problematic “ne-case” and “e-case” respectively. In addition, however, he also investigated other ways of using relational nouns in Hurrian. In the end, he situated the results from my study of Hurrian dimensional cases in a comparative linguistic framework.
