It is well known that Aristotle was a Cardiocentrist. He held the view that the heart, not the brain, is the center and the seat of the cognitive powers of animals as well as of human beings. The data leading Aristotle to this conclusion are as wrong and outdated as the conceptual aspect of his cardiocentrism is interesting and informative.
